"THE GREAT GOODY GIVE-AWAY"
On Saturday, July 2nd, our church family provided homemade and baked goodies -- brownies, cup cakes, and krispy treats -- to give to our neighbors. We set up a table at Food Town and offered goodies to everyone who walked by. Many folks took us up on our offer and accepted yummy treats to share with their families for their 4th of July Celebration.
We believe that it is important to love our neighbors and to reach out to them in ways that they value. It was a great day as we gave away -- no charge, no donations -- goodies, and greeted, smiled at, visited with around 200 people. God cares about people -- He made them.
We gave away tomato plants and then goodies. What will God lead us to do next? Stay tuned....we'll see what God calls us to do in the coming months! God bless you -- please pray for our ministry!
Spring Tomato Plant Give-Away
Helpers from all ages helped plant, tend, and give-away nearly 150 tomato plants to the people in our community. It's our way of saying God cares about your family -- and He provides for your needs.
