Cedaredge Church of the Nazarene is a warm and welcoming community of believers in Jesus Christ. We strive to share the good news of the gospel with those in our community, to help those who know God to develop a life-changing faith, and to provide opportunities for personal spiritual growth and service to others.
We share together in worship with a combination of familiar hymns and contemporary choruses. Our pastors share the good news of Jesus while calling us to live a life of holiness. It is our intention to honor the past, strive to fulfill our mission in the present, and impact the younger generations for the future.
You will find the atmosphere of our worship services to be relaxed and casual. Some folk dress up, others choose to dress casually. During the service, there is a nursery available for the use of our families. "Sermon in a Sack" is a special time for the children in our service. A child brings an item -- any item that will fit in a lunch sack -- and gives it to one of the pastors before the worship service. During worship, the children are called forward for a special children's sermon (quite short) based on the item in the sack. Before the service starts, we meet for a time of fellowship as we share a delicious cup of coffee or juice and a bite to eat.
